GoodNotes
GoodNotes transforms your iPad into digital paper. It's a single place for all your handwritten notes and formerly paper-based information. Allows for easy annotation on PDFs and images, enhancing document interactivity.

Apple Freeform and GoodNotes are both note-taking apps that support handwritten input, free hand drawing, PDF and image annotation. Both offer folders and tags for note organization and can integrate with other services (like cloud storages).

But Apple Freeform (launched in 2022) works only on Apple devices and optimized for iOS, iCloud, Apple Pencil. It provides flexible, infinite canvas for free-form creativity and is often used for collaborative whiteboarding and brainstorming in companies.

GoodNotes (2011) is Hong Kong based service for structured notebook keeping. It includes advanced handwriting recognition and search tools and offers library of template for different types of notes.
