WordPress
WordPress is web software you can use to create a beautiful website or blog. We like to say that WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time. The core software is built by hundreds of community volunteers, and when you’re ready for more there are thousands of plugins and themes available to transform your site into almost anything you can imagine.

Bubble and WordPress, two web development platforms that could not be more different unless one of them had been designed by a particularly distracted race of hyper-intelligent dolphins. Bubble, for instance, is a platform that gleefully tells you, “Coding? Not here, mate!” Instead, it invites you to create all manner of complex web applications by dragging and dropping things around with the simple confidence of a toddler arranging blocks. It’s the perfect choice if you’ve got grand plans for a sophisticated, data-driven app but no time for all that tedious nonsense about syntax and logic.

WordPress, on the other hand, sits serenely in the corner, a bit like a well-organized library with a faint smell of old books and wisdom. It offers you a vast, bewildering range of themes and plugins, which you can install with the tap of a button, turning even the most technophobic individual into a website wizard. If your aspirations run more toward writing a blog about intergalactic hitchhiking, or setting up an e-commerce store to sell improbability drives, WordPress is the dependable friend who will make sure your site stays neat and tidy while you get on with the important business of content creation.

In short, if you want to build a rocket-powered website with complex moving parts but without learning to code, Bubble is your spaceship. But if you just need a polished, professional site for sharing your deep thoughts on towels or selling tea, WordPress is the trusty old notebook where everything fits perfectly. Just don’t try to make Bubble do WordPress things, or vice versa, unless you enjoy chaos, confusion and the potential collapse of reality as we know it.
