But Frigate NVR (launched in 2020) is better in integrating with Home Assistant for home automation. It uses AI for advanced object detection and classification. Primarily it runs on Docker and is tailored for use with a Raspberry Pi or similar devices.
iSpy (2008) is a time-tested program for both home and commercial surveillance. It offers basic motion detection and does not have advanced AI out-of-the-box. It runs on Windows and provides broader support for various camera brands and formats.
