Microsoft Power Pages and SharePoint are both Microsoft's site building, collaboration and content management solutions, integrated with Microsoft 365 (Office). Both have customizable templates and web parts for creation of web-content.
But Microsoft Power Pages is a newer product (launched in 2022). It's a simple tool targeted towards low-code and no-code developers for building external business websites (rather than internal portals). It provides visual editor for designing modern, responsive web pages. And it's a part of Power Platform suite.
Renowned SharePoint (2001), was primarily designed for intranet collaboration and document management (though we know that some companies made website on SharePoint). It offers more extensive customization and integration options and the suite of enterprise content management features.
